Pictures in Black and White

       I was listening to "Mine Again"--by Black Lab on youtube. The video the youtube user had made to the song was one of the most beautiful thing I had ever seen. Towards the end, it had this black and white picture of a young couple looking away from the camera that were taking their picture. It was snowing and everything was so old and new at the same time. They looked so much in love and they weren't even looking at each other. You just felt it, I mean I just took one look at it and from then on I was in complete awe. It was so beautiful that I can't describe what it's like...it was breathtaking yet even that doesn't do it justice.....it was simply lovely................

This is my new section, where I'll do a book review on all the books I've read, or any anyone want's to recommend to me... 

Simply Love by: Mary Balogh.

This book was very good, so realistic. It didn't have fabricated details. But even though it wasn't fair tale, love at first sight- it was truly wonderful. The characters were so real that you would honestly believe they were once actually alive. Love isn't about beauty or happily ever after. It begins with a friendship of trust and comfort. And then if it was meant to be, it grows into something much more. Mary Balogh is one of the best at what she does and this book is great. It does end with a happiness and it is real happiness, one that we all work for each day, it's not the fake type that just happens and stays like that forever. I would recommend this to anyone, it's a great read.

The Bite of the Mango by: Mariatu Kamara with Susan McClelland.

This book is based on Mariatu's real life experience during the war in her country Sierra Leone. She was only 12 years of age when she was caught up in the war of her country. This book was heart wrenching and powerful. It shows what war can do to even small children and her journey to recovery and peace was well deserved. I am so happy that I got to read her story and learn about how she made it through. She is now 24 and helping her country and just reading her story makes me wish that I could track her down and help her. The bite of the Mango, is a great book for everyone to read. If you think your life is hard wait until you hear her story. This was happening all over the world and today it still is, at least in some places. As fellow human beings we need to take a stand and let our voices be heard. It is our power and when we use, you'll be amazed at what it can do for us.

What is love to most...

                                                               LOVE

                      It's when you've found someone that you're willing to spend the rest of your life with. It's loving them for who they are, all the good and the bad. You're a whole person but when you meet that special someone, you feel complete. And in some ways it'll sort of be like the movies. Sometimes the person you least expect to fall in love with could be the one for you. Sometimes it the person you can not stand at all. And sometimes it's not a love at first sight, it might be a hate at first sight. But relationships are built and kept by working hard to achieve it and hold on to it. Yes falling in love is easy, but staying together always needs compromise. Me and I will become we and us. And in the end it's always worth it. When ever people get divorces, it's because they forget that it's not just about them- and sometimes it's because they don't want to be married or because they 'met someone else'...But that's not the point. When you love someone, it's up to both of you to make the best of it and make it work.  

V for Vendetta....

        V: a victim and villain- was a man who stood for what he believed. He saw what
   had to be done and he did it. He wasn't real, but this fictional character was quiet a hero. At least to me. I'm not saying that you should put on a mask and go out and take revenge on the 
 government. But I'm saying that when you believe in something, you should stand up for it.
 Nothing is ever forgotten and sometimes some things can't be forgiven, but when you try
it always helps. This movie stood for so many things for me. The book, although I've never read  it- but I plan too, is pure genius. It's pure genius because if someone can make a movie like V for Vendetta, out of a book, it has to be good. It shows that when an idea is built, it should not be covered, it shows that when you are determined you can do almost anything. You may sometimes loose, but you should keep on going, no matter what....
